> One thing that some may not know: if you have an Android phone and download the Google+ app, you can set it to automatically put all your photos from your phone into a private folder in Google+, making it easier for you to then share one, should you desire. You have a few options, like only upload on wifi, only upload while charging, etc…
>
> Although…it’s not perfect. Rather than try to upload just the photos in my camera folder, it tried to upload lots of other random images, like custom icon packs, screenshots from games, etc…so I disabled it on mine…it does the same thing in the app if I just manually go to the photos section to upload something…it scans all my folders and I have to sort through hundreds of useless images to get to one I might want.

How do you access the options such as only upload on wifi?

Am I correct in thinking that you cannot rearrange the circles? I am on a netbook, so screen space is quite limited. Though I did realize last night that I could drag up the dotted line to push up the list of people and get the second row of circles visible.

Though it’s more a passing question – I ended up deleting acquaintances, and also following (for now, it’ll probably come back), which pushed one of my more important circles onto the top line.

I did also hear a tip (that I have not tried yet) that if you rename the first circle you want with a space, and then a title, and then the second circle with two spaces, and then a title --and so on – it will be rearranged in the way you want, though of course it is not a perfect system.

It just seems weird that you can’t drag and drop wherever you want.

I’m fairly certain it’ll be added. No Google product is ever ‘finished’, and G+ is still in its newbie stages.

For now, the best organization method I’ve seen so far is a combination of prepending circle names with ← for incoming-only circles (say, Following), → for outgoing-only circles (say, if you happen to have a Followers circle), and ←→ for interactive circles (friends, family, that kind of thing). Then add \* to the circles you want at the top of the list. The list will sort first by ←, ←→, →, then alphabetically with \* at the top.

It’s still not the same as arbitrary ordering, but it should give you greater control over the order.

Is there currently anyway to re-arrange the pictures in an album? Or at least change which picture is the “cover” for the album other then it being the last one that was uploaded?

Also, I seem to have someone following me that I don’t know. Though I she may belong to Opal, I thought it might have been a doper, but I haven’t linked to my profile here.

I’ve had at least one person add someone from my circles to theirs mistakenly thinking it was a Doper.

I kind of assume that most of the unknown people who have added me are from here, but I have a circle called “unknown” that I put people into until I can confirm who they are. I periodically make a post viewable only to that circle that basically says “if you can read this, I have no idea who you are, please let me know.”

Is there a way to remove a single circle from your Stream. For example, right now most of the posts in my Stream are from “famous” people I’m following because few of my real friends are members yet. One day though I’m only gonna want to see my “following” stream at my own discretion. I there a way to take it out? Or maybe one day I’ll be getting overloaded with posts from Acquaintances like I do in Facebook and will want limit their posts in my stream

She has you as a mutual friend (or whatever it’s called here), that’s why I mentioned it. My gut instinct is to just outright block people I don’t know, but that might be a losing battle, especially when it gets to the point where you see that you have, for example 100 people in your circles but you’re in 102 peoples circles and who wants to try to figure out who those two people are.

On FB, when I would get a friend request from someone I don’t know, I just simply sent them a message saying “Do I know you?” If their reply was anything other then “Yes…” such as “no, random add.” or “No, but…” I just declined the request.

I believe as someone who is just following me, she falls under the category of View my profile as “Anyone on the web” in which case she can’t see anything other then my name and profile picture.

Not yet. Right now it’s either one circle or all.

But there’s a lot of agitation for that ability, so I expect it’ll be available soon.

Just FYI, about 50% of the people in my circles are dopers. The rest aren’t. (For those of you who are just randomly adding people in dopers’ circles, my husband was added by one of you today and was kind of weirded out by it.)

Is it possible to post something to that’s only viewable to people NOT in circles (or, I suppose, not logged in depending on your settings)?

When I first set up my account, I somehow managed to get a ‘follower’. I don’t know who she is or where she came from (Opal, she’s a mutual friend of yours, but I don’t think she’s a Doper). When this happened, I set up a circle called “People I don’t know” and dropped her in there. My plan was that from time to time I could post something to that circle only asking these people who they were and go from there. In the mean time, anyone in that circle (or not in any circle) sees nothing of mine other then my profile picture and name.
That’s all well and good, but the problem is, anytime I want to post something I have to hand click all my _other_ circles, which is getting obnoxious. I see that button that says “Your Circles” but I can’t use that because then it’ll send the post out to random people that follow me that I have no known connection with, which I’d prefer not to do.

So, I’d like to get rid of that circle so I can use ‘Your Circles’ for most of the stuff I post.

Let me ask a different question. Is there a way to see who isn’t in a circle yet? That would be easier I suppose. From time to time, see who’s not in any circles, create a temporary one, post a ‘who are you’ question to that circle and sort them out from there. Or at least be able to see who’s following you that you don’t know. The reason I set up the “people I don’t know” circle was because I was worried that as my numbers grew I could just add people to circles as they followed me (or I found them). I worried that if there’s someone I don’t know, they would just stay ‘in limbo’ and I’d eventually forget about them. But then, I suppose since they can’t see anything, it doesn’t matter. Still, I’d like to be able to tell who’s following me that I don’t know. It would be nice to be able to ‘clean house’ from time to time.
Hopefully this all make sense.
Furthermore, something else I’d like to see…bigger circles. That is, circles that contain multiple circles. But I suppose that’s starting to get confusing.

If you use Google Chrome you can go to [http://startgoogleplus.com](http://startgoogleplus.com) and download their extension that lets you view Facebook and Twitter through G+

It’s pretty slick.

So another one in Google’s long trend of frequently killing off products (such as Google Reader).
