Nothing would make me happier than to see the GOP tear itself apart. Maybe the less crazy ones will grow some backbone. It’s an indictment of them, however, that they took so long. ---

That’s the whole point. Purdue and Loeffler’s best path to victory in the runoff is to stoke as much anger among base Republicans as possible that Trump was robbed, increasing the likelihood that they’ll turn out to vote on a random Tuesday in January. If that means throwing a fellow Republican under the bus – so be it. ---
