# The Giant

I sat there on the beach, and in front of me were my kids, and two others. Something clicked, and I saw before me N.C. Wyeth’s “The Giant”. The wind blowing my daughter’s hair, the poses as the kids turned suddenly to glance out at the water.

A singular moment. It so rarely happens that life presents an image that has already been painted. Has this happened to anyone else?

No, but what an awesome experience for you! I have, however, had moments with my sons when I thought the image before me was so captivating or poignant that it ought to be painted or photographed. [sub]\<sigh\> Always when no camera is nearby.[/sub]
