I’m not convinced I see any cloning or trickery going on here. I just think the guitar is at a very slight angle, so you don’t see the right side of the fretboard as clearly, and the strong backlighting also creates a bit of a softer edge than you’d expect. The high-res version just posted makes this a little more clear.
Now that I see that photo, I agree. The high E string shows up very clearly under the letters G & A, and then faintly along the higher frets. The bright white background behind the higher frets nearly washes out the image of the string, but it’s there, particularly at the last full fret toward the top right of the picture.
For what it is worth, I checked out avideo on youtube…
Decent player; put in her time watching "how to play like SRV"videos, nice sense of rhythm; doesn’t appear to stretch much outside standard blues licks, knows her way around a Telecaster, complete with cool 40’s Pinup decal on the body, like Brian Setzer or Kid Jonny Lang…
I saw her live last October. I was at a blues fest type event that had multiple stages set up around the event. At one location I could hear four different acts performing. I and a lot of other people in my area immediately started walking towards the stage where she was playing. After seeing her perform in the afternoon and then Derek Trucks in the evening I went home and apologized to my guitars.
Yep, that solves it.
