Bring a real point next time. I assume supposedly well-read posters have a fucking clue about the NYT’s writing conventions, especially when they’ve been explained to you in the thread before you posted your half-assed attempt at a rebuttal. ---

Here in Minnesota we have a weak minded governor who won’t sign any law that Law Enforcement opposes, and they’re more than happy to step up and tell him what to do. ---

Its amazing what a young fellow can justify for bad behavior if he feels that he is victimized. Thanks to the media and the public reaction that I see that is the only message getting through to young black men. That take MIGHT be plausible if Mike Brown was just innocently walking down the street and was confronted by Officer Wilson. But Brown had just robbed a convenience store and had every reason to believe he was about to be arrested. THAT’S why he likely attacked Wilson. A little different from saying “yes, officer” or “thank you, officer”, don’t you think? You’re providing an emotional reaction that is not based on fact. ---
