I always thought the title sequence for Firefly perfectly captured the spirit of the series. It really is more of a Western than sci-fi. ---

First thing that popped into my head was the title sequence to the original \*Magnum PI". Catchy music, great scenes, etc… that gives you a pretty good idea of what the show’s going to be about and who’s in it. Then I realized that _Hawaii-Five-O_ had already done it a couple of decades earlier. (and an hour later in fact!) ---
