I have a bottle of tequila here, given to me by another Doper. I was going to bring it to a party sometime in the future, but it’s so tempting to just open the thing now and down it. I keep reminding myself, though, that I don’t need a drinking problem on top of all my other problems. ---

I like tequila and it has never given me a hangover. of course now it’s been so long since I’ve had a drink one shot would probably put me to sleep. ---

It’s Firday. It’s a dark 71 degrees with a projected high of 83. I’m up too early, I can’t blame the dog I have to blame my bladder. I guess I will find out today. I’m over being upset, it is what it is and there isn’t a damn thing I can do to change it. I’m still a little pissed that it took them this long to figure it out when it was an issue I brought up in the beginning of the process. I was just thinking yesterday that I hadn’t heard anything in over a week, and the realtor sent an email asking how things were going and that now it was just waiting for the paperwork to get together. Not an hour later I get a call from the broker. So I guess today is just wait, and wait, and wait some more. And irk. ---

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. _YAWN_ 'Tis 71 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 89 and a thirty percent chance of rain. All in all not a bad weather prediction. We did get rained upon last night with only a thirty percent chance, however. **{{{sari}}}** appropriate/inappropriate appendages crossed here. I’m bettin’ the mortgage goes through. **midget** so, did you drink the tequila? I like tequila shots and margaritas. Not at six a.m. though. Temptin’ as that might be sometimes, showin’ up to irk snockered is probably not a good idea, alas. Now I need more caffiene and rumbly tummy is hongry. Then, irk purtification must commence. I’m up and getting ready for school. Today is a dress down day where we can wear jeans and school t-shirts. My dad’s girlfriend used to teach in the district that I’m in so she was all excited to hear that I was here and she picked out a couple of t-shirts as a gift to me which is really, really nice. One of the shirts that they got for me is BLING to the max - sequins, rhinestones, and sparkly glittery stuff - whoo! 😛 Ok, time for breakfast. Happy Firday! ---

Good morning!! My sweetie got home about 7:20 last night - his trek from Indy took 13 hours. I was glad to have him home and a little ticked off that he didn’t call me along the way after his lunch time call. Is asking for a “I’m now in X-town” when he stops for gas too much? I just figure if he disappears, I can give the rescue crew a start point rather than “somewhere between here and Indianapolis” - not that it matters now. He’s home and life is good. Or it will be when he wakes up and takes me to breakfast… I got my offer letter and pre-employment package. I went thru the whole thing, read and “signed” as required, and sent it all back. Today, I need to go do the drug screening, and unfortunately, I need to go to the next county over because there’s no lab in my county that does it. Oh well, it’s a non crab day and a nice day for a ride, so there’s that. \*\*sari \*\*- good thoughts coming your way. Isn’t it sad that people who do a certain job all the time still manage to screw it up? We had a realtor to sell one of our houses, and all of a sudden on the day before closing, he tells us we need to show up with a check for something over $2K. At the time, we didn’t have anything in savings - that’s part of why we were selling the house. Thank goodness for Mommy and Daddy National Bank, even tho it sucks having to do that when you’re in your 30s… But enough about my sad history - fingers crossed that it all works out for you. Would it be mean of me to go take a shower that will probably wake **FCD**? Because I’s hongree and if I let him sleep, it’ll be at least another hour before he gets up.
