Thanks for running this, **ianzin**. It kept me occupied for a while. So we just missed out on the national anthem aspect. Looking at that Wiki page, I’m surprised Googling all those names plus “writer” doesn’t find it. I suppose it’s because you deviously chose names that are also common English words. (That aspect of it threw me down a dead end of wondering whether the names were actually foreign ones that _translated to_ those words in English, e.g. Zinn, Lejeune, Pfeffer…) ---

Well, now that you have revealed them, the answers are so obvious. 😛 I am bad at anagrams, but I still got number 3. Number 7 was more difficult and I didn’t come up with an answer. I can’t imagine me solving any of the others (except 6 which was the easiest for me) without help. ---

And thanks. Yeah! I loved it! I was just REALLY bad at it and became ridiculously obsessed. Despite that, I only managed two questions by myself, another 5 by trading and 3 were beyond me.
