# The Great Move-Day 3

So on sunday I brought my first load of stuff from my former residence in St. Joseph MI. to Grand Rapids MI. So far so good. I just mostly work at this point because I only know about 3 people in town. My roommate hasn’t moved in yet so I’ve just been mostly walking around by myself learning the city a little bit more every day. Today I found the library which is where I’m at now. Later I think I may go ask the girl at the parking garage by my friends place out for coffee. Thats what I love about moving to a new and bigger town, You can do all kinds of crap like ask random people out on a date and if they turn you down or something you just never see them again.

Anyways GR is a pretty cool place. I already know where some things are but I’m still learning. The neighboorhood I’m in is great. All of the following things are in walking distance from my apartment: 3 liquor stores, 2 grocery stores that carry homemade sausage, pawn shop, a 24 hour coffee shop, a strip club, a 7-11 , hardware store, and an AA clinic. Great huh?

Well thats it for now. Soon I will go back and wander the streets some more.
