ftg (and others in the same situation), if your air conditioner has the proper settings, run it with fan and/or dehumidifying on high and cooling at the lowest setting – it will help to remove the mugginess from the air while not chilling you. (This is based on our experience with spring and fall muggy weather where it “was too cool for the AC”.)

ftg - Last year you North Georgians were trying to steal Tennessee so you could have water. Karma’s a bitch, isn’t she? :smiley: (Here in Middle Tennessee it’s been consistantly wet all summer. Last year we had little hay because of the drought. This year it hardly stayed dry long enough to mow, cure and bale it.)
