Thanks Beowulff. When you say looking into the photo, do you mean physically turning her body the other way. Or keeping the pose as is and shifting the framing so she’s on the right of the frame?
Either will work. When laying out a newspaper, it was always thought to be better for the subject in a photo to be looking onto the page, so that the reader’s gaze stays on the page. I think this is still a good idea for a photo, so that the viewer tends to follow where the subject is looking onto the body of the photo, and not off of it into space.
I actually don’t know. I’ve been pretty much exclusively on Mac for the past decade and change years. It works fine on the most recent MacOS, so I wouldn’t be surprised if it still works fine on the latest PC OS. I would just download it and give it a shot. This thread seems to indicate that it will work in Windows 10.
Yes, I have it, and it works on Win 10.
I am not a photographer. However, my son, who is 12, got interested in taking pictures about a year and a half ago on an old Canon PowerShot (?) we had lying around. He saved up his money to by a nicer camera (Rebel T6 I think) and for a while we refused to let him spend all his money on it. But eventually he wore us down and we let him buy it.
He’s a Boy Scout and enrolled in a photography merit badge class. The instructor was impressed enough by him to invite him to join the local photography guild where not only is he by far the youngest member, I suspect that at 48 years old I am the second youngest in attendance. At his second meeting one of his photos was selected as the group’s Photo of the Month.
Last month he entered 9 photographs into competition at our county fair (the largest in Tennessee). He won 5 blue ribbons, 1 second place, and 1 third place. He’s getting kind of a big head!
Some of his photos can be seen here.
Nice one - and he has some great photos!
