After the fact I learned that the outtage occurred around 10:30 AM. I didn’t much notice because I was getting ready. By 2:30 PM the Lidocaine was behind me and the IV was ready to go. Not long after that came the Fentanyl and the Midazolam, maybe not in that order. I am not making this up. April 21, 2016. All of this readied me for the point of it: a couple shots of Betamethasone. First time in my life but let me tell you, I feel much, much (much!) better. I am grateful for the Great Outtage. I was out of it for at least 24 hours anyway. The timing was quite good IMHO. ---

The Board was down so long, I was tempted to kill time by filling out the tax form from 2009 that the IRS keeps bugging me about. Fortunately the Board came back. Temptation averted. ---

1. BigT’s disgusting attack on Frank is worth a :rolleyes:. 2. Regarding BigT’s comment that “this is only a message board”, please see the following thread: [BigT said: “And I find it very insulting that you guys are telling me to leave [the SDMB]. If you’d read what I wrote: I CAN’T. This is my life…[list of reasons omitted]”](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showpost.php?p=12466553&postcount=65), and he’s written shit like that more than once, so…Pot/Kettle and all that. 3. When it comes down to it, I think BigT’s behind this. He’s the only one THIS emotionally invested in this board (seriously, read the thread above). He brags that he knows _exactly_ how it was done, but he’s not tellin’ and every post he writes on the subject sounds like a…stealth-brag/humble-brag. ---
