I assume we’re supposed to vote for the pictures we’d prefer to see out of each pair. In some cases I couldn’t vote at all because I’d not seen either. In others, I knew them both but had no real preference. When there was no clear-cut preference, I usually voted for the one I’d seen less often and would like to see again to make up for it.. ---

I can’t believe Empire Strikes Back is losing to Fargo. I’m not a Star Wars fan, but Empire was the best of them and Fargo was not the best Coen Brothers movie. ---

Right, that was really a tough choice between those two. (I initially voted for _Fargo_.) But you convinced me to search my feelings and change my vote, though—and the vote is so close that my switch single-handedly put _Empire Strikes Back_ into the lead. ---

Agreed. A few of the _Star Wars_ films are bloody good fun but the hype over them is WAY over the top. _Fargo_ is just a better film than any of them. ---

My feeling over the Star Wars movie is mostly childhood nostalgia. Also, Disney ruined it for me, so I have a hard time watching them these days. Having said that, I tend to either love or hate Coen Bros movies and Fargo is the exception to the rule. I don’t hate it, but I do find it somewhat boring, predictable and overrated. I’d actually rather watch Empire Strikes Back. ---

I really love _Oh Brother, where art thou?_ and I seem to be the biggest fan of _The Hudsucker Proxy_, it lost money and isn’t well rated, but I think it is pretty close to perfect. _Fargo_ I thought was mostly boring, but I know many love it.
