Today, I learned two things: 1 - The Australian Post _rocks_. I got a card from **Penultimate Thule** , showing a grain silo painted with what looks like a kingfisher taking a plunge. 2 - I had forgotten to collect the mail yesterday. ---

As the late Ron P. would say, wait, there’s more! Another card of Swiss origin from **@Die_Capacitrix** , this one of the St. Pierre Cathedral in Geneva with a missive mentioning how hard it is to get a good milkshake in that area of the world. Thank you! ---

Just looking through their website is a lot of fun. ---

I received a postcard today from @The_Butterfly_s_Ghost with a Virginia Woolf quote and a clever illustration. It also had a very cool stamp celebrating 500 years of Annaberg Folk Festival (according to Google and Google Translate). And a beautiful cancelation mark of a heart being hugged by two arms and “Together against Corona” (again according to Google Translate). I love those arms hugging the heart! Thanks, **The Butterfly’s Ghost**! I have now received a full complement of cards. One of the ones I sent seems to be slow or possibly it has gone astray. ---

Yesterday I got three postcards: one each from **Die\_Capacitrix** (showing a handsome old-time Swiss steamship), **The\_Butterfly\_s\_Ghost** (a bold graphic with Thomas Hobbes’s timeless dictum, “Knowledge is power”) and **ToadBuddy** (a photomontage of sights to see around Hamilton, Ontario). Many thanks to all! ---

I just got back from a short vacation to find two (2!) cards from @Die_Capacitrix. I indirectly learned about Swiss geography and now I envy the Swiss train system as well. Thanks so much! ---

In today’s post comes all the way from Seattle! Thank you @needscoffee A shot of the International Fountain with the Space Needle in the background. That’s one hell of a fountain. The composition looks like a still from War of the Worlds. Apparently the town is good for coffee, but didn’t you launch Starbucks on the world? ---

I’m still waiting on both my third card to be delivered and to receive one. Canada Post has been very slow lately and I expect that that’s the reason why. From what I’ve read, the Australian postal service is much the same so I do hold out hope that my postcard will be delivered, eventually. ---

Patience is a singular virtue. Arrived today from California is a postcard from St Charles IL featuring the Ekwabet statue beside the Fox River, courtesy of @Karen_Lingel including the same stamp used in the last exchange!
