I received both my cards from @Chad_Sudan and @Karen_Lingel ! šŸ˜ƒ Chad sent me a lovely oversized card of Yosemite (love the superflous stamps from Poland, Romania and Hungary!!! šŸ˜†) and Karen sent me a beautiful card of the Great Smokey Mountains and a picture of bear cubs! šŸ˜ Thank to both of you! šŸ˜Š ---

Hehā€¦well, to be honest, I live about 35 minutes from the coast. I got the idea of taking a pic of the bottle washed up on the shore last night. So, this morning I drove over to Aptos for the ā€œphoto sessionā€ at Seacliff State Beach. ---

Two cards from @JaneDoe42 arrived today (in the mailbox, not washed up on the shore in a pile of seaweed šŸ™‚). One is an aerial view of the Hoover Dam from the west with the bypass bridge in the foreground. The second card is an overlook of the Grand Canyon. Thank you! ---

It arrived! It arrived! Today I got my message-in-a-bottle from @The_Butterfly_s_Ghost, filled with not only a message, but an origami sailorā€™s hat, two decorated clothespins, and sand and jewels! Included in the envelope is a postcard with a Warhol-like picture of beers. I really appreciate all the trouble you went to in order to get this super-cool ā€œpostcardā€ to me! Well Iā€™ve been away for almost two weeks on family business and on my return there is a stack of paper to go through. Amongst there is a postcard from @silenus featuring Ron Cobbā€™s concept sketch for the Duros. Think Iā€™ve seen that slightly disturbing image in a mirror somewhere. Thank you! Have a recollection of seeing Ronā€™s work in some alterative way back in the 80s in my uni days. Pretty good chance there will be others, just need to find them. ---

Oh ye of little faith, repent! In yesterdayā€™s mail arrived not one, but two postcards from the US. From Seattle courtesy of @needscoffee (who should not apply for a job with the Seattle Tourism Board šŸ™ƒ) a 3D animation of a black cat from the catalogue of Kartebvertrieb replete with on theme stamps.
