From that we are going to Mars movie about 12 years back. Red Planet I think it was called. Val Kilmer is a crew member. Basically the space janitor. Early in the movie they find themselves in a jam and are trying to figure something out. They do or he does? And he says something to the effect of: Mr Jones was right. One day math would save my life. Then lots of bad shit happens and near the end Kilmer is finally going to blast back off to safety. He give Mars the finger and says: I hate this fucking planet. ---
