“I don’t mind if you don’t like my manners, I don’t like them myself. They’re pretty bad. I grieve over them on long winter evenings.”

From _To Have and Have Not_:
You know you don’t have to act with me, Steve. You don’t have to say anything, and you don’t have to do anything. Not a thing. Oh, maybe just whistle. You know how to whistle, don’t you, Steve? You just put your lips together and… blow.
Bacall married Bogart within months of their meeting in this film. Their first child was named Steve.

A more recent one from Ben Affleck’s _The Town_:

Claire: I’m sure I’d recognize their voices, if I heard them again.

Doug: I dunno. It may be harder than you think.

Mind you if we count TV:

Jeremy Clarkson on _Top Gear_, while driving a truck, said: ‘It really is a hard job and I’m not just saying that to gain favour with truck drivers.
You’ve got to change gear, change gear, change gear, check mirror… murder a prostitute. Change gear, change gear, murder. That’s a lot of effort in a day.’

From _Absence of Malice_…

James A. Wells, Assistant U.S. Attorney General: “Now we’ll talk all day if you want to. But, come sundown, there’s gonna be two things true that ain’t true now. One is that the United States Department of Justice is going to know what in the good Christ - excuse me, Angie - is going on around here. And the other is I’m gonna have somebody’s ass in my briefcase.”

There’s a Vampire movie called Lost Boys I think. But its not your usual vampire movie. Its about two teenage brothers sent to live with their Grandpa for the summer in California. Lets say its Oakland. Well, the older brother falls in with a bad crowd of other boys. Turns out they are vampires. Well, older bro gets turned into one or is being turned into one. Older bro doesnt want this to happen. Younger bro sure doesnt and is freaking out. Well, somehow they fight the vampires and reverse/stop older brother vampirization. I don’t think gramps helped with any of the vampire stuff or knew about it going on. And at the end of the movie they are leaving and saying their goodbyes. Somebody asks if they had a good time. They say yes (or something like that).

Then gramps says “Yeah, Oakland is great place, except for all the damn vampires”

Oh, and at one point I think young bro says something like “I’m going to tell mom you’re fucking vampire!”

_Please_ explain to me how I never noticed that, later in the scene, as everyone around him is running about and being slaughtered, Guy is standing there frozen in panic, he alone completely unharmed.

I can’t believe how much I love that movie. It is so adorable, I want to wrap it in a blankie and kiss it on the nose.
