Sorry to disappoint you boys, but there are lots of threads with no reply whatever and plenty of views.
They were the ones that died aborning, locked right away, usually because they were a result of a double post. At first it would be obvious what had happened, and people would only click on the open post. Once the locked one separated, and started its path down the thread list, the lock would seem less obvious and people would start to click on it, to see what the fuss was about, only to be disappointed by lack thereof.

Son of a gun. I just turned one up that was unanswered and a real beauty, too. I don’t know how to calculate the number of views, however.

Nah, **SmackFu** probably didn’t go to all that trouble. He’s probably just got surveilance cameras trained on all the Dopers, and watched to see who was loading each thread. Piece of cake.
