# The growl is silenced - Eartha Kitt dies

Yeah, Santa Baby was written for her. She was awesome. I saw her live twice, once in the 80s and again about 10 years ago. She was still going strong. A friend of mine interviewed her for the radio a couple years ago, and yes, still going strong even then.

When I found out it was her singing, it was so obvious.

I like the fact that she was so well rounded. She could act, sing, and was really more of a personality.

That’s one thing they don’t train celebrities like that anymore. They’re not as well rounded as they used to be.

So many rely on gimicks and gadgets to produce their shows, but someone like Eartha Kitt could grab a mike and entertain you without much notice
