I had a case when i worked in the Sex crimes dept of the PD i currently work for. It involved a 16yr old kid who exposed himself to the five yr old girl next door. The offender was classified as a juvenile because his family had means. His father was pissed off that a local doctor reported it to us… because he of course wanted it handled in house. That kid probably will not be listed on the registry… so some incidents will occur where you might hire or be involved with people who have criminal sexual incidents in their past. As a side note what makes this memorable to me was that i escorted the kid across the street to juvenile court where an older security guard said to him… “What’s a nice young white boy like you doing here?”… The kid then basically confessed his offence out loud right in front o both of us… Thanks a lot old man… the Judge was not pleased at all… Just adding that potentially the registry has its faults… and their may be more perps that we all deal with on a daily basis… kudos to your wife for using resources to at least find this out. ---

No, they can’t have their wages garnished but that doesn’t mean there is no recourse. ---
