See this movie! Just got back. This is the funniest movie I have seen in a long time. Totally deranged, and filmed on location. Does it mean something that I recognized every street sign and location in Vegas, and I don’t live there? They never explained the chicken, though. ---

Maybe the chicken was tiger food? Yeah, it was pretty funny. Zach Galifianakis was the star of the show, I think. I heard an interview with Ed Helms, and he is missing that tooth IRL. Heather Graham is perfect as the stripper with a heart of gold (she seems to play that part alot, it seems to me). I have to pit the couple that brought a 5-year old and a 7-year old to the movie though. Definitely an inappropriate film for pre-teens (especially considering the content of the slide show at the end). ---

Unless I missed it, they never explained how the one guy got hurt and had to go to the hospital But yeah, a hilarious movie .I’m surprised it’s getting such great reviews though. It felt like a movie that would be critically panned. ---

It is a hard sell for me. Even with the rave reviews and Heather Graham (does she get naked? That might tip the scales) it just looks like another in a long line of Apatow-like summer fare. I usually don’t laugh at movies like this. ---

You get a brief nipple shot from Graham. I also pit a couple of people who brought kids to the movie. Good luck explaining what is going on in the elevator, folks. The wife is hoping that there are missing scenes that will be on the DVD. Like how they got from their suite at Caesar’s to upstairs at the Riviera., before they did the **Rainman** homage. ---

I thought the movie was hilarious, my favorite of the summer, easily. We went to a show but it was sold out, and the later one was absolutely packed. I didn’t think it would be like that. ---

I found the Asian gang boss to be too over-the-top, though. Although, I did love that power window scene. ---

Loved this movie. Continually unpredictable. The scene with the cops was a masterpiece. Galifiniakis’ character: child molester? Why else would he have a school-related restraining order on him? What a daring character to play overall. As always, Heather Graham was given nothing to do. And are we to understand that she left her baby behind in the closet when she got up in the morning? I’m fearful that Mike Tyson will make a second career out of this sort of appearance. Is the raunchy wedding singer someone well-known? ---

Saw it with the wife this weekend and both laughed throughout. Good times. The only dark spot for me was Tyson. I couldn’t find humor in “Yeah, we do stupid shit when we’re drunk” (paraphrased) which read to me as “Ha ha… it’s funny because he’s a wife-beating rapist.” ---

Saw it this weekend and laughed…a LOT! I think the reason the guy ended up in the hostpital was because they got into a fight with the Asian dude and his men. BTW, one person throwing a mattress off a roof…not an easy task. ---

By the way, I thought it odd how the writers spent a lot of time building up the “we can’t damage the car/my dad loves this car more than he love me” subplot…and then totally ignored it by the film’s conclusion. The damage goes totally unmentioned, yes? (Unless I missed something). ---

There have been a few stupid fratboy movies recently that I’ve found to be actually entertaining, and I was hoping this would be one of them. But no, it was just stupid, over-the-top, slapstick, “Ooh, look, a tiger!” nonsense. It seemed to me like they were trying to cram as much wacky, nonsensical tomfoolery as they could into 90 minutes, hastily interjecting lazy jokes intermittently, lest we forget this is supposed to be a comedy. Oh well, gave me something to do Sunday besides cleaning. And there’s a neat little bar next to the movie theatre, so I’m pleased.
