It’s so hot here that the titanium rods in my spine melted. OK, so that may be an exaggeration, but aside from the heat, it’s just thick out there and it almost feels like you’re swimming rather than walking. I’m just happy to be back among the driving, so I can go to the delightfully air conditioned mall for my walks. ---

The ice cream truck came for the kids at the day care next door. It has that creepy female voice saying, “Hello!” in between music. Makes me think of the pied piper of Hamlin. ---

The drive motor in the icemaker mechanism jammed and caught fire from the resulting overload. Made a mell of a hess, too. ---

**lieu** no problems trackin’ in salt because it dissolves really quick. No regrets about it at all. I save a ton o’ bucks in chemicals, the water is soft and as I said earlier it does not fade bathin’ suits like chlorine will. I’m glad I converted. I can’t imagine it causin’ any problems with stonework. Seems to me it’d be a lot less harsh than chlorine. I do still use some algaecide just to keep the algae away. In a humid climate that tends to be a real problem. Through with irk for the week. YAY!!! Beerverage time! ---
