Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. _YAWN_ ‘Tis 73 muggy Amurrkin out with a predicted high of _ONLY_ 85 and very likely rain. It did rain some last night. It was thunderatin’ all around but we just got some rain. I have not read those posts **Jim** told me not to read. Thus, I assume **Jim** , **Spidey** and **flytrap** are plannin’ to surprise me beer, chawklit and nekkid men for my birthday. Oh yeah, I got one of those comin’ up soon and I’m told next Sattidy there will be a pool partay to celebrate it even though I don’t want to. Hangin’ at the cee-mint pond is cool but I could do without it bein’ a bday celebration. Plans, however, are afoot. Maybe it’ll rain. Hope Higgs is ok **MOOOOOOM**. Now I need more caffiene and should feed rumbly tummy. Then, well, who knows! Happy Sattidy! ---

Happy Saturday! It’s a muggy cloudy 75 degrees with a projected high of sizzling 93 degrees. Yes\*\*\*\* FCM\*\*\*\* we got lots of rain, it’s very wet outside. I hope the \*\*Higlet \*\* feels better soon. I think it’s really cool that **Capt** , **Spidey** , and \*\*Flytrap[/B are going to surprise **Swampy** for his birthday. The _Full Monty_ so I’ve heard. **Swampy** I know you’ll be sure to take and post lots of pics. Damn Sirius radio took money out of my account. I guess it was time to renew the subscription but DAMN they could have told me first!!! Kind of rude to not send a reminder first. Best Buy still takes their money out twice each month and then puts one payment back. They deny they are doing it but yes they are. However, my AT&T bill dropped $40 and when I called to ask them why they said it’s some kind of settlement or bonus or something and they don’t know if it’s a one time thing or a forever thing. Wasn’t there a class action against AT&T? ---

Higlet has eaten some rice and half an egg. She’s been out at least twice, barking like a little idiot. Now she’s napping. It remains to be seen if she’ll leave us a mess on the carpet again. I’ve watered one garden and I’ve got the sprinkler on another. I need to mow, and I seriously need to weed - next week when the temps drop a bit. So far, no crabbers to check, so I may have another day off. We shall see… ---

I have a sore throat and a headache. I feel the ick coming on. I need to get up and get moving. I don’t know what I am going to eat since the damn mouse got into everything. I want some soup, that will feel good on my throat. ---

For anyone familiar with NJ, it was a cheesy version of Asbury Park before they both became primarily used for IV needle distribution. The water was frightening since as I recall it was on a bay rather than the open ocean, but they had a reasonably entertaining boardwalk/arcade - SKEEBALL (woo-hoo!!) ---

My parents both grew up in the Belmar area, so that was primarily where we went. My friends and I would do Seaside for boardwalk stuff, but we’d never actually use the beaches there. ---

We have never had mice like this. Getting one every winter was kind of expected. We’d put out the poison and be done with it. The next door neighbor says they are bad this year because of the house on the other side of him. It was a rental, the basement flooded and the tenants never cleaned it out. He said it was a mess of cardboard boxes, furniture, all kinds of crap in one big mess and full of mice and bugs. The landlord had to use a shovel to scoop out all the mess. The house has long since been cleaned out, fixed up and sold but the neighbor says the mice are still around, he has to keep putting out poison too. I think I will get Chinese food today. Wonton soup is good for a sore throat, egg rolls with hot mustard is good for a stuffy head and ginger is good for the tummy. ---
