I started wearing fedoras in high school. Every year the rumor comes around that hats are coming back, but they never do. One day they will, though, and some comedian will accuse me of being a copy cat. Fine by me, as long as it means there’ll be a place to get a hat cleaned and blocked in town. Also, I really don’t like these canvas fedoras you can get at Wal-Mart, with the seams and vents. It would be nice if good fur felt hats were more readily available.
