First thing that comes to mind is the Hawkeye system of ball-tracking for various sports. Had you asked this 10 years ago I’d have said the M.A.S.H. character. (the ball-tracking system is also at the top of my google search result when I simply use the term “Hawkeye”) ---

I thought Iowa first, then Alan Alda’s character. I think being in Big Ten country for so long has a lot to do with it. ---

Sometimes I would think of Clint Barton, sometimes I would think of Benjamin Franklin Pierce. Probably a 50-50 chance of either. ---
