Speaking of the horribly repetitive ads that were playing during Band of Brothers, can anyone explain to me how the special forces in that video game (I think it is Ghost Recon 2) can manage to turn out the lights AND the fire in that oil drum before attacking that North Korean squad of soldiers? Turning off electric lights I understand, but if the US has invented some kind of technology to douse fires from long range without the use of water, chemicals, or any other visible means, my thoughts would boil down to this: America. Fuck yeah. ---

Oh yes those commercials are disgusting… However the show was pretty status-quo, as far as historical documentaries go. It was pretty informative and interesting, and didn’t have any cheesy stuff in it like the commercial.
