Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. _YAWN_ 'Tis 75 muggy degrees Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 87 and a fifty percent chance of rain/tstorms/apocalypse. The weather PTB say “locations nearby are reporting thunderstorms.” We shall see. Today is a day of paperirk at irk. I have a lot to catch up on so that and only that shall occur. Of course this means everybody everywhere will suddenly decide there are massive problems, traumas and world endin’ events that **MUST BE DEALT WITH RIGHT HERE AND NOW!!!111** Now I need more caffiene and rumbly tummy wants to be fed. Then, alas and alack, irk purtification must commence. Hark! I hear thunder rumbles in the distance! Great. I’ll probably be electrocuted in the shower. Happy Firday Y’all! ---

Howdy all. Going out to run in a little bit here. I’m trying to wait until the mosquito population has mostly gone off to bed before I go. Tonight is the big party of the year at the museum where I volunteer sometimes. They roast a pig and I’m one of the people who shreds it up for serving. Should be a fun evening. They’re expecting 3000 or so people at the party. ---

Happy Firday! I am up too early again, damn bladder! It’s a wet 66 degrees with some flashing and rumbling. Miserable day to look at houses, hopefully it will clear up. This is gonna be a LOOOOOOONG day! \*\*FCD \*\*woke around 2 because his back was really hurting and he decided to try sleeping on the guest room bed, since it sometimes makes a difference. Between him getting up, then me needing the potty, then the cats needing to walk on me, then the rain pounding on the roof, well, I wasn’t falling back to sleep. Finally around 5, everything calmed down and I started to doze, and the idiot dog started barking. So it’s now not quite 7 and I’m exhausted! \*\*flytrap \*\*- if my sweetie suffers and early demise, I will be selling all the fish stuff to the local shop where he bought much of it. So unless you can meet their price… 😛 It’s still raining and from the looks of the radar, it’s going to continue for a while. Alas, I’ve got to do some laundry, so I’m stuck with using the dryer, dammit. There’s less chance of rain tomorrow - maybe I can hold off till then?? We shall see. Meanwhile, I’ve breakfasted and I’ve got stuff to do before a 10AM appointment. Maybe on the way home, I’ll stop and get some peaches for jam… Happy Firday! ---

Nuttin’ like walkin’ in the door at irk and findin’ out a buncha circuit breakers tripped durin’ the night. They have been untripped and all is well again. Well, except probably the message on the voicemail has probably reverted to the default. Let me check… yep, it did. Now I have to yank up the little script I invented and re-record it all. Why must life be so hard! 😃 ---

Today is the last day of class before we’re off for 3 weeks (though I do have work 3 days next week, but I like work, so it’s not too big of a deal.) Today we’re doing a class activity, where we’re going for a walk in a local forest. ---

It’s too hot to work today. My office is boiling, I’ve just been outside to the post office on campus and it was so pleasant out there, why did I have to come back in here? The good news is that I have to leave early today because my car’s in the garage for a service and MoT thingie so I need to get back by 5pm to collect it, which means I need to leave the office by 3.30pm. Bonus! On my travels at lunchtime, I did buy a bottle of water so at least I am properly hydrated after last night’s cocktail session. They were very good cocktails too, there are some new ones on the list and of course we had to try them all… ---

Especially in winter, I will save three or four of them on the Tivo, then curl up with a pile of yarn and a crochet hook and go to town. I made seven blankets for Christmas gifts last year, and I have Syfy and the Netflix horror section to thank for it. 🙂 ---

Yeah, we kind of shred the ‘token’ pig that is there just for show and then a caterer provides all the rest of the pulled pork for the evening. Although, since volunteers eat for free, I will actually get to sample the fruits of my labor since part of our pig is taken directly to the staff room. Well, I’m back from running and I’m showered and ready to start loading my car for this weekend’s show where I’ll be running into **freebie** here and there, I’m certain. Or at least **son of freebie** , assuming he’s going, as he’s out running around. ---

With Muvver we were both there - Mary holding her hand and me just outside the room checking on a couple things. And again, for her that was just in perfect character. I am taking a long way to say however things unfold, look to her needs and character and not so much anyone else’s. God doesn’t always do what we want but He usually gives us what we need if we leave our hearts open to it. And rant, vent, or scream into a pillow as often as you feel the urge. SciFy is funding the making of movies that are to film what porn is to fine art. They have great computers and CGI possibilities soooooooo – they just GOT to use it. Sharktopus was the classic although from what I hear Sharknado may have that one beat. Personally I’m waiting for Sharknado Vs Crocicane. ---
