# The hoverboard, and in the nick of time, too...! ^.^

Well, according to the BBC, Lexus has been tinkering with a prototype hover board. About time…! October is behind the corner already! 😛

The speculation is that it [only hovers over a magnetic surface](http://www.wired.com/2015/06/lexus-hoverboard-slide/), so not really a Back to the Future type hoverboard.

And the question I have about all magnetic hoverboards, how are you suppose to steer those things?
