If you don’t remember the orginal game, you can revisit it in this thread over here [http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?threadid=125336&highlight=game](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?threadid=125336&highlight=game) As you may or may not know, the object of this game is to tell how many of the whatever _the last person asked_ it would take to scare you if you were alone with them in a room. Then, once you’ve done that, suggest a new scary whatever for the next person to decide on. In that game the requirement was that the scary thing had to be alive. In this new version, the scary thing must be a character- from books/tv/movies/games (and I guess songs). I’d caution against using **Really** obscure characters, though, since the game is dependent on the next person knowing what you’re talking about. And please bold your choice like last time, too. [sub]Example for new players (from last game): Player 1: How many **hedgehogs** would have to be in the room with you to scare you? Player 2: Hedgehogs??? OK, more than 47 of the regular variety, or just one of the Monty Python version Now how about … **baby snakes?** Player 3: Baby snakes Funny you should mention that. That’s what I used to call my ex. Sort of a play on words the complexity of which was not fully appreciated. Hence the ex… Or maybe it was appreciated? One was enough. How about **fwuffy bunnies**? [/sub] Got that? Good 😃 Two other things before we start: - since it was asked last time how big the room was, 10X10 was a good suggestion, so we’ll go with that. - if someone picks a character that isn’t live action (say a cartoon, comic, or video game character) assume they are three dimentional while in the room with you. If the people in Space Jam and Who Framed Roger Rabbit can do it, so can you 🙂 So now we shall begin the characters edition of the game! (ok, maybe I’m the only one excited about this.) \*\* How many **T-1000s** would have to be in the room with you to scare you? ---

Ah, for **Duck Dodgers** , the more you have, the better–that way their attention is focused on each other, and they leave you alone. I’ll say any off number over 5 would be enough (because one could then easily try to get me to pay attention to him, and that’s what scares me). Just how many **local TV morning show hosts** would it take to scare you? ---

The Simpsons being a true nuclear family, 2.4 children, **Maggie** being the .4. I think a whole number **Maggie** would be enough to scare me. Especially, it’s one of those Halloween episodes. How many **Girls form Ipanema** would it take to scare you? ---

**Shoggoths** are sooooo cute, I like to hug them and tickle them and…, But I did once have a sushi roll that was meant to be Tuna. I am sure it was really Shoggoth and quite a nasty stomach upset, so I would guess 0.0001 of a **Shoggoth** would be scary if wrapped in rice and seaweed. Hom many **Tribbles** would it take to scare you? ---
