I was also curious at how her leg muscles had atrophied but her arms were apparently just fine. ---

Ok, Keep remembering, _Its only a Movie!_ 1. There is no way someone could tell they’d been in a coma for 4 years, 4 days or 400 years. 2. People don’t “wake up” from comas. They aren’t asleep. Those rare few who do come back, come back slowly, with rehabilitation therapy. A neurosurgeon I once knew, estimated it takes a month of rehab for every day of unconsciousness. 3. Her arms and legs would have the same amount of atrophy if they had the same amount of passive exercise (see post # 9) ---
