In the interests of accuracy, I should point out that this is probably supposed to be Dallin H. Oaks, the Utah Supreme Court guy.

Thank you. The fortune files aren’t exactly vetted for accuracy. (In fact, it’s something of a mystery where some of them even came from.)

All female humans are born with a hymen, but it is a pretty fragile piece of tissue. There are lots of occurrences that can happen during a woman’s childhood to rupture it. Once damaged, it does not regrow. The other factor here is that because a hymen is so fragile, some women do not notice when they lose it, be that by sex, tampon use or whatever.
