I need some ideas. My friend finally got a new toilet and she joked that she expected a toilet warming gift from me. I’d love to get her one of those poodle toilet paper holders that were so popular in the 60s? Maybe a new toilet brush with a big bow tied on it? Too boring I think. Oh I wonder where to get on of those joke thingies that say something when you sit on the toilet? I think I have some shopping to do. I need it by Friday. ---

My Dr is the best Dr ever. I had called the other day because my knee is swollen again and they told me they would work me in. I didn’t go cause I just didn’t have time. Today they called and told me to get there. The Dr came in on his day off for me. 🙂 He put a shot of cortisone in the knee. It didn’t hurt near as bad as I thought it would. He told me to ice it this weekend and it will get better. Diagnosis is arthritis and bone spurs. I will have to learn to live with it. ---

**Jim** yum! I went and met OYKW for Mexican commestibles at our fav-o-rite place to do so for N.O.L. He called me to say he was leavin’ his orifice and had a gnawin’ and a cravin’ for Mexican vittles. After that we came back to da cave for nappage. Homemade grilled burgers and fries will be supped upon later. That is all. ---

**Red** an aunt had two of those crocheted tp cover things with the creepy dollhead on top in her guest bath. As a wee cub I would not go in there. :eek: She also had pictures of her son (my cousin, duh!) who was killed in an accident (he was drivin’ too fast for conditions, missed a curve and slammed into the side of a church) when he was twenty, in his casket in her livin’ room. I never went in there either. I’m told that the University of Jawja and the University of South Keerliner are gettin’ together for some kind of event this afternoon. Apparently I am supposed to care. The statement I made to the effect of care I do not has caused some consternation amongst some of my friends from Ye Olde Home Towne. I’m havin’ a beerverage to collect myself. 😃 ---

I is all done trainin’ fo the year. I hadta leave about zero dark-thirty. Pull up to the first (long) light & look to the left where I can see no other vehicles for ½ to ¾ mile that I can see up the road so I look to the right where I can see no other vehicles for ¼ mile that I have visibility for. In fact there were only two cars on the road, mine & the one immediately behind me, so close behind me that my brake lights were lighting up the push bumper so that I could see the letters P O L I C E. Iffn only I knew the number of that (very little) known section in the vehicle code that says in the middle of the night, when there’s no other cars around you can go for it. ☹ ---

Today is my Dad’s 85th birthday, so I called him up and sang Happy Birthday to him. LOL He enjoyed it! I am glad that he’s still here and is enjoying himself. I only wish my Mom were still here too. Dindin has been consumed. We did dine al fresco as it does feel good outside. Still thunderatin’ all around but no rain. **flytrap** I have gotten better about lettin’ others touch stuff in da cave. I now no longer get all freaked if somebody else uses the grill, and OYKW does good on the grill, nor do I freak if someone uses my stove. I don’t know a lot about going down rapids in a kayak, but I’m pretty sure this little run of water would be on the extreme end of the spectrum. I decided on a poodle toilet paper cozy with a matching soap cozy. I’m having it sent directly to her house so I don’t have to worry about getting it here and taking it there - and it should be a surprise for her. For months we have had to reach in the tank to pull up the thingie that makes it flush, I’m glad she finally went for a new one and had the friend there to install if for her. The sun is out after having rain all day. I’m in a fairly good mood today. Nobody is here but the son and me. It’s so nice and quiet and relaxing. I still haven’t put my laundry in but I’m heading that way. I have a few dishes to wash, heading that way too. FYI I have a carton of TP sitting here in my room and it is going with me on settlement day. it will be the first box carried into my new house, I have my priorities in order. ---
