Someone was trying to help me find a new place, and she found an ad that said apartments were available in a building that was currently being renovated, and since Iāve been bothered by renovation noise at my current place for the past 10 months, I just said, āNope, thatās a dealbreaker.ā

Did 6 hours of uniform duty and got home before any significant rain arrived (just looked at the radar and itās comingā¦). Now to eat and drink (Iāll work on the merry part later).

Why is it Iām not surprised that you found an image of a hunky construction worker? š
This is going to take some getting used to. The keyboard is fine but the screen is about 12 inches higher than I am used to. But it will work until I get some other things done and break down and get a PowerBook or something. Besides maybe it will inspire me to keep my desk cleaner and less cluttered.

Worked. A large chunk of my customers were acting like somebody removed a scoop of their brains. And itās not even St. Patrickās day. But hockey at the VFW tonight.

Iāll deal with the clocks tomorrow - except for the clock radio in the bedroom - Iāll advance that before I crash.
The balance of my afternoon consisted of laundry and making a blueberry cobbler with fresh blueberries. It was yum. Iāve also done some crocheting and TV-watching. I foresee an early bedtime.

Busy day but not much done.
I took Ripple to the dog park. We had the big dog side all to ourselves for a while since everybody was on the small dog side, even though none of them were small dogs. A man with a pitbull came over to the big side. Our dogs sniffed each other then went off in different directions. Eventually they did play a little until Ripple got knocked on his ass, turned all wussie, and hid behind me. A couple of more playful dogs (Irish wolfhoundx and a lab puppy that at 5 months old was way bigger than Ripple) showed u,p but by then I was cold and Ripple said he was ready to go home. We were there for an hour and youād think heād been tired when we got home, but no, he was still being a brat.
Heās finally sleeping, so I am getting a bit of a break.
Itās supposed to be nice tomorrow so I think weāll go back.
I had shrimp and broccoli for dinner, Sah-son had cheeseburgers.

This post makes me realize how lucky I am:
Yes, there are mornings when I feel like crap and it sucks to have to get up early; mornings when the weather stinks; mornings when the buses are late and filled with annoying people.
But my job itself is wonderful. I enjoy having somewhere to go and something productive to do, with co-workers I like.

actually all the clocks at my house are on devices such as phones or cable boxes that change themselves
so theres only 2 I have to change did yardwork for an hour or so of course that freezing wind came up ā¦.gotta love mountain breezes ā¦.

My clock radio changed itself - this morning (Saturday.) Though when I got up, I realized I had a whole hour more than I thought, so that was good. Plus, that was the closest my clock had ever come to changing itself correctly. (I think maybe itās from an earlier age when DST was at a different time?)

Supperās all cleaned up, breakfasts/lunches are prepped for the week, the lentil and tomato stuffed aigplant is ready to go into the oven whilst I purtify for metting with the heathens tomorrow and the clocks are changed. The one in the car doesnāt need changing since I didnāt change it last fall. š Iās tahred. Now to finish the document on the Celts.

Evening here and listening to the rain and thunder that has been going off and on for the past 5 hours. Hopefully it will start to dry out Sunday.
I have a couple of wall clocks that have some sort of built-in wireless that allows them to automatically advance, so I donāt have to take them down. Will move the Microwave and Stove times as I head to bed, along with the alarm clock.
Everybody have fun advancing in time tonight.
Damn rain is back again.
