And I’m done. The garden beds are all edged, everything that I can plant for now has been planted, and mulching has ensued. \*\*FCD \*\*is finishing the hand rails and the landing for the steps, then we shall declare the deck finished. Except that I’m going to my mom’s next week to get more stuff to plant in there… 😃 A big ol’ horsefly chomped my leg while I was out there and I’ve the the ugly welt to prove it. But I did kill him or one of his relatives shortly thereafter, so there’s that. But being showered and dressed in non-sweaty clothes has improved my outlook considerably. Yay! ---

And when I go to my mom’s, I’ll be getting a few more plants to fill in some of the empty spots. But construction is DONE!! Yay!! Howdy Y’all! I am alive and almost well even. The day started out with meetin’ OYKW for brekkies at Pearly’s which is always a good thing and has gone progressively downhill. ICK! Irk is particularly irksome and ick today. On top of the fact that all this end of year stuff must get finished, beginnin’ next week with the new program year, there will be a change in participant trainin’ hours per week so everyone must be notified and must sign a statement to the effect they understand the change in hours. This is not an easy task. I do believe everyone has been notified via email or fax (yes fax). Now the trick is getting everyone to send back signed acknowledgements. I just KNOW this will involve physically goin’ to some trainin’ sites to get the dang things myself or gettin’ staff to go get 'em as well. ICK! ---

Happy Toosday! I am over the blurf finally. It is friggin hot outside, 91 degrees with high humidity. Ahhh shit I forgot today is laundry day, I guess I’d better get started. No pizza today because we got pizza Sunday instead. OAOASO had a delivery in town and asked me to come over to meet him, so I picked up some lunch and met up with him. Thank you **Sticky** , I thought it was pretty straight forward and it was asked out of curiosity. I think my grumpiness didn’t help any though. **Doggio** That sounds like a plan and while I’m waiting for the spiders to arrive I’ll have a captive audience to whom I may be able to get my point across. If he doesn’t get mine he sure will get theirs 😃 ---

After a lot of staring at my computer and not feeling particularly motivated today, I have had the epiphany that I am Not Happy with my Life. I’m also lazy and don’t like getting up off my ass to change things, so this is going to be interesting, trying to turn it around. I’ve decided to give myself projects, forcing myself to complete at least one per week. I’m starting off slow, and most of it involves cleaning and/or updating my home–so I can sell it and move somewhere else, which I think might be my ultimate goal. So tonight, we go shopping for a new stove. Because I won’t have time to clean enough to get window replacement estimates until after the 4th. 🙂 ---

So, a couple of weeks ago I made two nifty pen holders that sold right away at my very next show. Kind of unprecedented. It took me maybe an hour each to make them. Spurred on by their success I decided to make 4 more. Unfortunately the tankards that I’m using are a variety of materials - different than what I used before - and I’ve been working on these freaking things for two whole days now. They’re finally done. There is so much glue on my hands right now that the fingerprint scanner on my laptop couldn’t recognize any of my fingers. :dubious::smack: This too shall pass… ---

It’s almost like the cafeteria knew about my surgery tomorrow… The shorthand for some of what I must avoid post-op is “No BLT” for no bending, lifting or twisting. So what are today’s specials? Something the call BLT Toss Pasta, and BLT sandwiches. :eek: The countdown is on… in slightly more than twelve hours, I’ll be at the Admitting desk to begin this little odyssey. ---

I had a rather nasty realization today that will involve scheduling a doctor’s appointment. And no, it’s not that there will be another baby for the MMP to squee over. The problem I’m having is the one that precludes me from procreating. I made Detailed AGM worried. He kept sneaking up behind me to make sure I wasn’t going to pass out. I told him my health problems don’t play that. Much like Homie the Clown. ---

Howdy from da cave. Left irk, stopped and swiped the General’s dindin cause well, I could not be bothered to cook even though I have chikin boobs thawed that were to be grilled and sliced up over a nice sallit which I could not be bothered to make. Thus, tomorrow is grilled chikin sallit night. **doggio** I like the way you think! 😃 It’s been a little rainy and right now I hear thunderatin’ off in the distance. Bring it on I say!
