Happy Hump Day. It’s 69 degrees with a projected high of 95. I don’t know what it feels like outside because I was able to get up and potty without waking the dog. He thinks he’s so smart putting his bed between me and the door but every now and again I can get past him without waking him up. {{ **{FCM}** }} just because is sucks when you have to watch your kid do something that you wish they wouldn’t do but you don’t have any choice. I totally forgot laundry yesterday, even after I remembered it here. My mind is a sieve lately. I guess I am lucky in that I have no trouble falling asleep. Staying awake is more of a problem. Usually if I am having trouble all I have to do is turn the channel to something interesting, murder mysteries work best, and I will always fall asleep before they show whodunit. The harder I try to stay awake the faster I will fall asleep. Between the dog and my bladder, staying asleep is my problem. ---

It’s not a motorcycle gang… :rolleyes: It’s a bunch of grey-hairs in leather pretending they’re a motorcycle gang… except they stop a lot for ice cream. Seriously - his HOG chapter is big into ice cream-related activities! The last of the cedar is oiled. A load of grubbies is washing. I’m showered and dressed (finally - I had to sew a button on my shorts.) Kitchen is tidied. I think we’re done working for the day - huzzah for lazy Wednesdays!! ---

**MOOOOOOM** you forgot pee breaks. A gray-haired motorcycle gang always knows where the cleanest restrooms are. They also know how far apart said restrooms are and plan accordingly. Hmmmm… wonder if there’s a niche market here for some type of leather cover up for Depends. 😃 ---

\*\*swampy \*\*- potty and fuel breaks happen every 150 miles or so - remember that most bikes only carry 4 or 5 gallons of gas and they get 40-ish MPG or so. Heck, on one ride where I followed them in my car, they stopped 3 times in a 155 mile trip. Once was for gas, once for lunch, and once I don’t know why… Off to knit!! ---

Blurf. I’m now getting worried about the magpies, they’re seriously plotting against me- not content with vandalising stuff at my allotment, for the past two days one has been showing up outside my bedroom window- over a mile from the allotment- at 4am, then squawking loudly until I get up and chase it away. It then comes back 5 minutes later, and we repeat the process until I give up and stay up. It even brought a baby terrorist magpie with it yesterday, so I couldn’t even throw stuff at it, as the baby was looking so bewildered and innocent. Bah. ---

AUGH! No surgery for me today. After an abnormally painful insertion of an IV, I got woozy and blacked out for a few seconds. End of the line. Get off the bus. Do not pass Go. Do not get happy meds. I now have to get a cardiac clearance out of an excessive abundance of caution. I can see Spineydoc’s position. Three months ago, one of his colleagues had a patient faint briefly pre-op, and that night, they suffered a fatal heart attack, so being a bit gun shy is understandable. So now, I’m rescheduled for next Wednesday. Now I have to see how this impacts my leave from work. By now, all my access has been suspended, and getting it back on will take some doing.
