Howdy Y’all! I got a nice surprise treat for dindin. MOG called me up this afternoon and offered to take OYKW and me out to eat at a place called Nothin’ Fancy. So, I call up OYKW to ask him if he wanted to (like he’d say no :D) which, of course, he did so after irk we met her and piled in OYKW’s SUV and took off for the twenty mile drive out to the place. NF is out in the country and lives up to its name. Cement block buildin’ painted white, formica tables and booths, charis are foldin’ chairs, food is served on plastic plates, drinks come in plastic cups, all utensils are plastic, there’s a roll of paper towels on each table and the food is freakin’ fantastic! I had catfish filets, sweet N.O.T. fries, cheese grits and hushpuppies. YUM! Oh and a piece of homemade caramel cake for dessert. YUMMY! NUMMY! I read but retained little cause I’s tahrd. TPTB finally left today around two-thirty. YAY! I may make tomorrow a short day just cause. So, yays, boos, hugs, noogies, trouts, chtlins, smooches, how _you_ doin’s as needed. ---

Happy Firday! It’s too flippin early to be up but I am. It’s a dark 69 degrees with a projected high of 85. One of my clients got nasty with me last night because I know he added to Friday to this schedule but I also know I didn’t write it down because he didn’t tell me what times to come and was supposed to get back with me to tell me. He gets annoyed anyway if I don’t answer the phone when he calls and he called twice yesterday while I was napping. The HFH is gone for two whole weeks plus a few days. I’d be dancing except I still feel like crap. A damn mouse just ran across the floor, every time I think we are rid of the little fuckers another one shows up and to make it worse, this one is a baby. Haven’t heard from the mortgage company, settlement is supposed to be next Friday. I hate not knowing anything, how can I plan my next step if I don’t know where I am? ---

Gotta get used the the alarm clock, altho I woke before it went off. \*\*FCD \*\*has an early Dr appt, and I set the alarm for 6, but I woke at 5:30 from a weird dream. That gave me time to tend to the critters and make me a peanut butter bread before waking my sweetie. He’s got a long ride in morning traffic, because he doesn’t want to switch to a closer practice. His choice, but that’s why he’s up so early. 😛 I’ll do a load of laundry if I have enough for a load, but since I’ve done 4 large ones in the last week, I may be all caught up. And if no crabbers decide to go out, it’ll be another lazy day. Except that we’re going to the convenience center after \*\*FCD \*\*gets back. Better to get that taken care of before the weekend. I may also drive the mower around the back yard - it’s getting shaggy. He’s going on a charity ride tomorrow and it’s supposed to be hot - high 80s - so I don’t know what I’ll do. I should figure out what I’m going to wear for my first day of work, and what I’ll wear to my reunion. Decisions, decisions… It’s nice and cool at the moment, so I opened a few windows, but it won’t last. Not for a fw more weeks, anyway. Happy Last Firday of August!!! ---

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. _YAWN_ 'Tis a foggy 76 Amurrkin out as daylight breaks upon us, with a predicted high of 92 for the day. It may or may not rain. There’s between a forty to sixty percent chance. The weather PTB can’t seem to make up their minds about rain chances. **BBBobbio and Doggio** NF does not serve alcohol but that’s no biggie to me. You go for the food and the atmosphere. I mean, when the waitress says, “Whachu gone have hon!” you know it’s gonna be good. 😃 Plus you get to go help yourself to pickles, onions and crackers to munch on while waitin’ on your food. Also, they have pickled jalapenos. It is serioulsy nuttin’ fancy! Ok that’s all I got. I need to feed rumbly tummy and more caffiene is needed stat. Then, alas, irk purtification must commence. Two beers a year is what I consider personal binging. Hell, I gotta buy a 6 pack this weekend to make Beer Butt Chikin, and I’m already obsessing over what to do wth the 4 leftover. Still sounds like my kind of lowbrow joint. The biggest lesson I took away from Cottonfield County is that I’d druther roll in the mud with the rednecks than sip champagne with the snoots. ---
