I need to irk but my eyes hurt from lack of sleep. This going over to piddle pups 5x a day is hard today. It leaves me no time to get other things done. My phone is too screwed up to try to irk from there but maybe I will try anyway. It’s a holiday I should be having fun. I am not going to miss pet sitting. I will miss the animals and my clients, but I am not going to miss working on holidays and weekends. ---

Boy, did I screw up. I bought a great big bottle of “Mountain Fresh” scent laundry detergent. I don’t buy scented crap - I hate it all. I don’t know why I bought this. I’ve been to the Rockies and the Great Smokies and the mountains in western MD and PA, and the mountains east of San Diego, and even to a mountain in Sicily, and \*NONE \*of them stink like this crap!!! ick!!! I’ve got everything out on the line and my only hope is that fresh air and sunshine will dissipate the alleged fragrance. Otherwise, I’ll be giving it away. ick. Two load of wash done. \*\*FCD \*\*is gone on his merry way. I’m making him a reference map for when he takes over the crabbers during the week. He has a lousy sense of direction and just telling him an address won’t necessarily compute. I’ll mark all of the landing sites on the maps (one for each county) and at least he’ll have a general idea of where he’s heading. He’ll use his GPS for good measure. Yikes. I just invited 155 people to my birthday party, but I reserved tables for only 10 or 12. Hmm… Well, most years I do invite a lot of people, but not all of them ever show up… ETA: Just thought of an idea. By about midweek, I’ll see how many people plan to show up, and if it’s more than I’d planned for, I can call the restaurant and tell them to increase the number of people in the reservation. ---

I awoke for no apparent reason at 6. Critters have been tended to. I’m not breakfasting because \*\*FCD \*\*and I are going to Bert’s for pancakes. That’s the big plan for that day. The second biggest plan is a trek to the grocery store for lunch stuff. One thing about the [%20Villa%20Rd&city=Saint%20Inigoes&state=MD&zipcode=20684"]place]([http://www.mapquest.com/maps?name=Webster%20Field%20Annex&address=](http://www.mapquest.com/maps?name=Webster%20Field%20Annex&address=)[47800-48301)where I’ll be working - it’s more in the middle of nowhere than where I live. No lunch places nearby at all. So I’ll pack my assorted foodstuffs and beverages. No crabbers so far. Today may end up being a knittage day. Or something else. No matter. I woke at 6 to start the smoker, and since it’s 7, I suppose I oughtta get my ass in gear. A load of dirt dumped in my yard yesterday with about 2 hours warning threw the entire schedule out the window. It was spread and graded, and grass seeded. Big plans for today are the delayed smokefest, shampooing carpet (yuck), and maybe cleaning the hardwood floors. I made VWife promise that I can have Monday to do nothing productive. ---

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. _YAWN_ 'Tis 75 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 91 and isolated thunderstorms. This means it might or might not rain. It did not rain yestiddy so that ups the chances for today I reckon. This is brunch Sunday over to the church house. Thus, I have made a gallon each of sweet and unsweet tea and have some chikin laigs from yestiddy’s smokeage to take as well. We are also havin’ a Parish meetin’ where plans for the “church proper” will be discussed. Also we will formally meet our new Associate Priest even though she’s been around for a couple of weeks. A very nice person who gave birth to twin boys six weeks ago. What with deheathenization, burnch and the meetin’ it will be a longish time over to the church house today. Thus no plans afterwards. Ok, I need more caffiene and rumbly tummy wants to be fed. Today is also “The Feast of St. Seersucker” with the idea bein’ to wear seersucker or other summery attire. A picture shall be taken of all who do. Since we don’t own seersucker OYKW and I shall wear Hawai’ian shirts, shorts, straw hats, sunglasses and boat shoes. The idea of wearin’ such attire to church would normally be appallin’ but today, what the heck. We shall join in the fun. Happy Sunday Y’all! ---

Afternoon! Didn’t quite manage to empty the house, but gave the keys back yesterday regardless… I wasn’t expecting to get much (if anything) in the way of deposit back anyway 😕 All the provided stuff was awful quality, and had broken (like the oven, which was brand new a year ago, but the hob and all the paint was just flaking off- despite me carefully cleaning it), so I dounbt it’ll make much difference. I just ran out of time and energy. I got basically all the stuff I wanted out anyway (just realised I forgot the solar lights out the back though, drat). Anyway, it’s over with- I’m now not allowed to move again for ages 😃 ---
