It’s been over a year since I posted here and a very long time it has been. My last post was, if nothing, dramatic… but I believe that the fondness that I have for this message board and the people within it require me to give a much more official departure. And so, I can see no more fitting tribute than by continuing what, I believe, was the [best thread that I created.](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=269870)

As such, I, **nocturnal\_tick** , as his final, parting gift would like to declare:

**I still love you.** 🙂

A fine thread it was. I locked it anyway.

Hey, there’s something new – they made me a mod.
