The ICE shooting in Minneapolis (1/7/2026)

I have no interest in hashing this out with you. Especially since you’re making things up about me.

cite my personal bias.

Moderating: This has moved into attacking the poster at this point.

Spin it off to the Pit if you want, but drop it from here.

It appears to me that the ICEman who did the shooting deliberately placed himself in a position where he could claim self defense if the driver moved forward while allowing himself enough leeway to avoid danger with little to no effort. Looking for an excuse to shoot a person who was not complying.

Yeah given the fact we know he has been dragged by a car months earlier. The fact he deliberately walked in front of a car and then instantly resorted to shooting someone in the head makes me agree with this.

Every one of his actions were in violation of the federal guidelines.

I see Vance describes Good’s death as a tragedy “of her own making.” Let’s say I accept his reasoning. As I recall, Trump paid the survivors of Ashli Babbitt some $5 mill. I assume a similar check soon will be cut for Good’s survivors?

Compounded by the fact that he fired the second and third shots through the driver’s side window as the car was passing, when he was clearly in no danger whatsoever, even imaginary danger. He was just pissed off.

I’ve read that state and local authorities are locked out of the investigation. Does that also lock the coroner out as well? Can the coroner still hold an inquest? If the cause of death is the second or third shot then I can’t see how this is anything other than murder.

And even if he gets off the murder charge, it’s obviously reckless endangerment. We’re all VERY lucky the car (with the dead driver’s foot on the accelerator) didn’t injure or kill anyone else – as it very easily could have, directly and predictably, from the ICEman’s action.

“We know he was dragged by a car months earlier.” How do we know that? Because JD says so? Mr. They’re eating the cats says so? Nah.

I certainly hope the state is able to prosecute and convict the ICE agent(s) involved. I don’t buy the feds’ claims to jurisdiction but admittedly I’m not a lawyer. This was a clusterfuck on so many levels:

  • ICE shouldn’t have been there in the first place
  • The administration’s smearing of the Somali community is reprehensible
  • The shots were unnecessary as the only agent in the path of the vehicle had ample time to get out of the way, in addition the car was turning away from him
  • Denying the doctor access to and potentially saving the life of the victim should be prosecutable
  • Kristi Noem’s labelling the victim as a domestic terrorist is completely batshit insane.
  • JD Vance made a complete fool of himself with his bizarre statements
  • The Sadist-in-chief of course is ultimately responsible for this whole shitshow

Maybe this will be the turning point, where watching the videos proves the administration has its head up its ass.

All completely true.

Of course I’m reminded of John Oliver’s “We’ve Got Him!” But when you see 2 Congressional actions yesterday in which some Rs acted contrary to Trump’s wishes, and the legitimate outrage (among many) over the Venezuela action, it would be challenging to make the case that public or Congressional opinion is trending his way. We’ll see how much damage he can do before what effective restrictions can be imposed. I suspect it will be considerable. Would expect this to bode well for the midterms. But he can wreak a lot of havoc in 10 months.

The murderers intent matters not the victims. Only victims actions, and whether a reasonable person would interpret them as a threat, matter (you can claim if the murderer has knowledge of what the victim planned to do that might effect his intent, but that is clearly not the case here).

On that note, I’ve been reliably informed (by a Facebook “friend”) that the left’s outrage over Renee Good is raging hypocrisy because of our lack of outrage over Ashli Babbitt. The inverse, of course, is not true, because Good was a terrorist, and Babbitt a patriot. Or something.

It was evidence in a court case (including the injuries he had treatment for) so it probably happened, in some form or other.

But that’s not even remotely exculpatory for the shooter, in fact its the opposite. If I was stabbed by someone in a Minnesota Vikings hat six months ago then I shoot someone in a Minnesota Vikings hat that’s not a defense that’s motive!

Aaron Parnas is sharing footage that Alpha News (a Minnesota alt media site) has acquired of the shooter’s cell phone footage.

At the end, the shooter or someone nearby, calls her a “fucking bitch.”

What strikes me is that if he’s focused on holding his phone to video, he’s not fully engaged in the situation. And again, he absolutely should not be approaching any vehicle from the front, especially if he’s not giving the situation 100% of his attention.

And here are ICE agents on a high school campus a little ways away from the shooting, a few hours after the shooting, roughing up high school students as they leave school. Pepper spray was also used and a school official was detained.

So to summarize…

  • An unarmed white middle class mother* was shot in the dead in her SUV the middle of a suburban neighborhood.
  • The murder and what lead up to it was caught on video and audio from multiple angles
  • At least two of the three shots that killed the victim were from the side through the driver’s door window, from a position next to the car not in front of it
  • The murderer recorded the circumstance of the murder himself on his phone
  • The murderer recorded himself calling the victim a “fucking bitch” just after murdering her.

I concur with several lawyers I’ve read online who say any competent defense lawyer should be looking for whatever plea deal they can get short of Life Without Parole.

‘*’ - which shouldn’t matter but this is America, of course it does

The case is being handled by this compromised FBI, headed by incompetent, lying, sycophantic Kash Patel. The shooter will never face any charges.
