When they summarily execute someone, you’re goddam right there’s an emotional, visceral dislike of LEOs. That dislike is doubled down when, within fifteen minutes the victim is denounced by the murderer’s entire chain of command from our so-called President down to the scene commander as a domestic terrorist. This is the ninth time since September ICE thugs have fired at or into a a vehicle. That this is the first death is nothing short of miraculous.
Justice is a foreign concept to this regime. It has already said it will not cooperate with local law enforcement. What are they hiding?

But I thought he killed the woman because he feared for his safety? I thought the whole point of shooting the woman in the head was so that he could restore his feeling of safety. I guess he still doesn’t feel safe even though he’s allowed to murder his way out of his insecurities. Well, good luck to his new neighbors, wherever he ends up. Let’s hope he doesn’t move to a cul-de-sac where his neighbors need to make 3-point turns when they are exiting their driveways.
If you support LEOs, don’t support this one. He has made things so much worse for all of them. He has brought shame to his entire organization and he has made himself, his family and his fellow officers into targets. Based on his accolades noted in the article above, he very well should have known better than to do what he did. He is not someone who should be a part of the law enforcement community any longer. You can still support the LEO community and recognize that at the same time.
Might I suggest you watch Andor, season 2 episode 8 specifically? I won’t spoil it. If you know, you know.
And we are back here again. You watch that video and see certainty. I watch it and see at least possible ambiguity. I marvel that you can see the shooter perfectly through the thug standing in front of him. Right at 1:20, the way he moves looks to me as though his left leg MIGHT have been clipped. He held his gun in his right hand. Not sure if the gun was held to the right or in front of his torso. I’m guessing an average person is maybe 24” wide at the torso. If walking sideways to their right, their trailing left leg might be even more than 24” to the left of their gun hand.
I also thought the asshole was taken to the hospital. If so, it would be noce to see what the examiners opined.
So some anonymous person’s photoshopping gives you all the certainty you need. Great. Macgiver and I may. agree with you when/if more evidence comes out.

I readily agree that any contact was minimal. Just watched again - perhaps he got clipped - or jumped aside, before/as he was shooting.
As even the rules and past cases noted, standing in the path of the vehicle was Ross’s stupid idea. And as noted (specially with ICE) the purpose is to have justification to shoot at people. As it is, it is even doubtful that he was sideswiped. And considering all the evidence so far, even if that sideswiping took case, that would not justify the shooting.
Agreed wholeheartedly, with a possible preference of the word “questionable” rather than “doubtful.”
Show me the video of that happening. It seems most of us haven’t seen that one.

Which again is totally irrelevant. None of the murder statutes in any of the jurisdictions have a clause that says “it’s OK to murder someone if you have been trained to”
Which might be a basis for self defense for an attack on someone carrying a deadly weapon (as long as the weapon is still in the victim’s hand and posing threat. LEOs have been found guilty for repeated shots after the victim no longer posted a threat). But in this case the (very very dubious) “weapon” is a large SUV powered by an internal combustion engine.
Neither one bullet or a hundred bullets was ever going to stop it. That’s shown by the fact IT DID NOT STOP, it carried on after the driver was murdered, DID NOT hit any ICE agents, and ended up like 100ft behind them. The murder of the driver did not avert anything! (Though, as an out of control vehicle with a dead driver, did pose serious threat to the life of everyone on the road)

Note also that the first video released (I believe) shows Ross walking down to where his victim’s car has rolled, AND walking back. At no time does he exhibit the slightest hint of a limp or any other indication of having any injury at all.
Excellent point. Noem has been loudly claiming that Ross followed ICE procedures perfectly. How is this—even putting aside the murder, and looking just at the outcome of the car rolling away to hit who or whatever—their recommended procedure???
I don’t recall hearing all that honking on the other videos taken at the same time. Could it have been added to this particular viddy in an attempt to somehow justify their actions?
