Thanks for that. I take back my prior requests for more info. I’m convinced that he was not hit in any way - other than incidentally as a result of his reaching out towards the car. His own phone showed Good smiling and clearly turning the wheel. But he didn’t feel the need to take 1 more step to the side. Yeah, that’s what I’m thinking. I’m pretty sure ICE and any cops can ask anyone any question any time for any reason. Arresting or searching something, though, needs a lot more. IANAL ---

I got quite turned off some years back when the courts began holding that there was no coercion and no power imbalance between a private citizen and a heavily armed and armored cop with the ability to(tho likely not the legitimate authority) to terribly inconvenience you. Really makes you wonder what universe such judges are living in. I truly respect private citizens who stand up to LEOs’ improper requests despite the potential risk in doing so. ---
