And yet, they ought to be charged with kidnapping, assault, and various other crimes. And when there’s enough evidence, they ought to be convicted and serve time. Nothing is going to rein them in until they feel they might be personally responsible when they break the law. ---

For the first point, @Aspenglow noted that protest songs not 25 posts above, and issued a warning for disregarding the **many** Moderator notes about staying on topic. Commenting on another protest song, is completely unacceptable, even if you didn’t see the NEW warning just issued for it. The second quote reflects another hijack - while they were taken from Minnesota, and may at some level vaguely contributed to the ongoing protests, this arrest happened two weeks after the shooting. Other than the fact it’s ICE action and in Minnesota, this has nothing to do with the topic of the thread: the shooting(s).
