Just now on CNN: The officers involved in the Pretti shooting have been placed on administrative leave.
Apparently, at least according to the talking heads, this is SOP after such an incident, but it’s nice to know.
It says a lot that following standard operating procedures is a newsworthy event.
Were they named?
No, no names were given, at least not on the news I was watching. I’m sure their names will come out in time somehow.
If no names were given, then anything said about what happened to them must be taken with a grain of salt.
I also heard they’ll be undergoing routine mental health evaluations (SOP when their actions result in death).
Unless Trump’s people have replaced the career civil servant health care professionals with this guy

That’s so weirdly random I have to wonder if there’s some crank theory out there about vinegar…doing something. Like the bank robbers who thought lemon juice would make them invisible to cameras.
