So I know it’s generally bad form to announce you’re leaving a thread, you should generally just leave it, but since I’ve been heavily involved and I feel like I’m being forced out, I thought this one might justify an explanation. I’m aware that I could ironically be warned for this exact post. Have fun guys.

Milan Mayor Giuseppe Sala said that ICE would not be welcome in his city, which is hosting the Feb. 6 opening ceremony to be attended by U.S. Vice President JD Vance, as well as most ice sports.
“This is a militia that kills, a militia that enters into the homes of people, signing their own permission slips. It is clear they are not welcome in Milan, without a doubt,” Sala told RTL Radio 102.
Rather ironic but fitting that the nation that was the birthplace of the CCNN, the blackshirts, is calling TFG out on his murderous militia.
Deleted my comment. Thought it was a new thread, but then realised it’s just another post in the Minneapolis thread that has nothing to do with Minneapolis.
They’re not engaging in law enforcement. They’re there because TFG wants them there, they’ve shifted to the position that they be there in an ‘advisory’ capacity only.

Anyway, we know from Pam Bondi’s letter to Governor Walz that ICE are in Minneapolis to extort Walz into giving the Trumpites control of the 2026 election. Not very mysterious.
They may not be “law enforcement,” but they certainly are “enforcers” in the organized-crime sense.
It’s appalling how egregious and open all this lawlessness is, and yet, seemingly, nobody in Congress or the Supreme Court cares.
If anyone doubts that fascism is in the offing, doubt no more. Or just look at Stephen Miller. All that’s missing is the traditional swastika.
That’s really unfair to the members of Congress and the Court who obviously care.

It is more clear that the bruise was more the fault of the ICE goon than the driver, on top of that, the past narrative from the right wing sources runs into the fact that the shooter was treated and released the same day from the hospital, in other words, more into the territory of self-created jeopardy.
It is against standard law enforcement training and policy for officers to intentionally place themselves in the path of a moving vehicle to create a justification for using deadly force. Such an action can be considered “self-created jeopardy” or a “dangerous decision” that may render a subsequent use of force unjustified.
