What is up with the Illuminati conspiracy? Who believes in it, along with the freemasons controlling the world? Bertelsmann do own a large amount of the media world wide…not ownly publications and music corps but distributions… And that David Icke character? With all that talk on about Bildeberg. [http://www.bilderberg.org/](http://www.bilderberg.org/) One character, David Emory, ties them all together with Bush family, the nazis, and saudis. I practically never believe what I read or hear nowdays, be it on NPR, CNN, NBC and most definitely Fox. I must say the illuminati conspiracies do intrique me, especially with the wealth and corporate pockets the current administration has and the level of secrecy involved. But that is nothing new…we had that during the Reagan years and the Nixon years. ---

_Query:_ Assuming for a minute that all this conspiracy nutjob stuff is true and the Illuminati does control the world, what do they gain from it? Other than the source of some cheap laughs at the Country Club, anyway. ---

I ask myself that. I can only say absolute power. You can only do so much with money and being the governing head of a nation or something. I suppose watching too much Polanski is not a good thing before thinking about it. ---

I can’t think of too many that turned out to be true, though. ---
