None of the songs were to John Williams tunes. I remember: [ul] [li]C-3PO translating R2-D2’s distress message to the tune of “Doe, a Deer” from _The Sound of Music_[/li][li]Darth Vader describing his daily routine to the tune of Sinatra’s “My Way”[/li][li]Obi-Wan Kenobi lamenting the direction Alec Guinness’s career had taken to the tune of “The Windmills of Your Mind”[/li][li]Han Solo refusing to assault the Death Star to the tune of “I Like to Be in America” from _West Side Story_[/li][li]Luke assaulting the Death Star in Darth Vader’s TIE fighter (!) to the tune of “We’re Off to See the Wizard” from _The Wizard of Oz_[/li][li]The cast winding up with a grand finale to the tune of “I’ve Grown Accustomed to Her Face” from _My Fair Lady_[/li][/ul] ---
