Fuck. My mother just called and I said, “Can’t talk now, bye.” I think she hung up pretty much immediately too. I hope I haven’t done anything to make her current mental state worse. I hope she won’t try to have me arrested, like she supposedly did to her friend. I don’t even know if she has many friends anymore. ---

I often wonder the same about my mother; she seems to have either alienated or outlived most of the ones I knew. And since the time she made some stuff up, changed some real stuff around, and had a little meltdown and almost got me arrested, I fear the thought of having to go into close contact again. When my brother was going through surgery I was afraid _for_ him - I wanted a good result because I love him and want him around. But I also wanted it because it gives me that buffer to keep a safe distance. ---

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. _YAWN_ ‘Tis \ 69! \ Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 93 and sunny for the day. This mornin’ we are goin’ up to large and in charge Parrot, Jawja to help JDD and Partner do some yahd irk at JDD’s parents house. It’s a large yahd but no real big stuff needs doin’. The hedges need a good trimmin’ and I shall drive twuck around and pick up fallen limbs. After that we shall get cleanded up, go by the nursin’ home in large and in charge Dawson, Jawja to see JDD’s 'rents and then back heah to have N.O.L. at the good Chinese place. We all know how to have fun on a Sattidy! 😃 **{{{Midget}}}** here’s hopin’ things are better today. **Butters and flytrap** don’t make me put you two in timeout. 😛 Ok, that’s all I got. So I did my usual wake up around midnight, find something interesting to watch for a bit then go back to sleep. But when I reach to put the remote on the night table, I dropped it, and I was too comfortable to move. So I let the TV keep going while I fell asleep again, and dreamed about malfunctioning remotes, like I pushed the buttons repeatedly but the TV wouldn’t turn off, or the TV went off but somehow the program kept going, or the buttons on the remote got stuck or fell inside the gadget so I had to take it apart, while 14 Shark salesmen whirred around my apartment. IOW **BLURF!!!** ---

I had a horrific nightmare last night - I was shopping… in a _mall!_ :eek: \*\*FCD \*\*got up with Higgs, so I slept in till nearly 6:30. I actually feel rested. And the sun is shining, so it should be a good day. If it dries enough, I’ll push around the mower tomorrow morning. I need to do some weeding today. Not sure what else. Happy Saturday. It’s a cloudy 63 degrees, with a good chance of rain, and supposed to get up to 78 later. It’s countdown to surgery, I have much to do before I go. I’m getting a bit annoyed, well more than annoyed. Nobody is supporting my decision to come home and I won’t be able to drive for 2 weeks. Nobody will drive me home because they think I need to stay down there close to the hospital and around people who can care for me. There is a hospital up here and I’m sure it can handle it if something goes wrong, and Sah-son is more than capable of taking care of things around here. I’ve agreed to stay with my mother for a few days. Then if nobody else will drive me home I’ll drive myself. My mother is offended that I don’t want to stay with her - now she is whining - is it really so awful here? Yesterday she made the suggestion that instead of moving into a senior place she could just move in with me. Anyway - I need to get busy. ---

Um. I had a doctor’s appoint yesterday afternoon and when I returned Mickey had made a full recovery! She had no pain, no discomfort and her legs were working fine. I took them out this morning and she continues to be well. 🙂 ---

Yay, Mickey! **rosie** , did anything on t.v. incorporate itself into your dreams (like maybe a Shark commercial 😛 )? That happens to me when I fall asleep wit the t.v. on. Heading out after my shower to meet SIL at the bluegrass festival. It’s in my old neighborhood, so we’ll likely have supper at one of the taco trucks rolling around. ---
