People being people, it would be strange if that state of affairs _didn’t_ lead to a lot of naked picture taking ---

And most people didn’t have Polaroid cameras back then, either, whereas it’s almost impossible nowadays to not own a digital camera. Note that, even in the days before digital cameras, it was taken for granted that there were some people who’d photocopy their nether bits. And that’s even with the inconvenience of getting some private time in a room with a copier, and the low quality of the resulting images. ---
