Just saw this on the daily show. The chairman of some board, explaining why he made some decision, tells us about the internet. There is a transcript [here](http://blog.wired.com/27BStroke6/?entry_id=1512499) Quote: “I just the other day got, an internet was sent by my staff at 10 o’clock in the morning on Friday and I just got it yesterday. Why?” So, what the hell is going on? How can this guy be making laws? ---

Well, internet _connections_ are essentially tubes. The higher the bandwidth, the larger the tube and the more it can contain at any given time. ---
