Brilliant, absolutely fucking brilliant show. Dark and funny. Groundbreaking in its comedy, visual style and in its computer-assisted animation. Which makes it inevitable that the dolts at Nick would [cancel it](http://www.aintitcool.com/display.cgi?id=11274).

For the unaware, the show has connections to two legendary comedy insitutions.

The Allmighty Tallest Purple is voiced by Kevin MacDonald from _Kids In The Hall_ and the head writer for the first season of _Zim_ was none other than TV’s Frank from _MST3K_.

As for my favorite moments, they all belong to Gir. Especially when he’s doing the beatbox into the power amplifier from the _Plague of Babies_ episode.

Also: “I’m daaaancin’ like a monkay!”

I have a Spooky doll…it sounds like it says “taco” when I squeeze it. The paint is peeling off in many places now.

Some of my favorite Gir quotes come from _Invasion of the Idiot Dog Brain_:

“I love the little tacos. I love them goood.”

“But I _need_ tacos. I need them or I will explode. That happens to me sometimes.”

“Where’s my mouth? _Where’s my mouth?_”

Can anybody tell me what episode this Dib quote comes from?

another gir related post

my firend was in love with her bf, blah blah blah didnt know how to tell him  
and i got her into the whole invader zim show n stuff so we’re always spitting out quotes from the show

i always go to her, i love u piggy! i looooooveee uuuu!  
so whatever her n her boytoy were sitting around and he was complaining that hes fat n stuff  
so shes bursts out  
I LOVE U PIGGY!!! I LOOOVEEE UUUUU!!!  
lol and he was just like, wtf

good ol gir saves the day again 😛
